Costume Description/Image: Talia doesn't have a special costume. Converse shoes, white shirts with bands on them, and skinny jeans are pretty much all she wears.
Personality: Talia makes a point of being rebellious. She ignores people's attempts to help her, and although she is interested in the greater good, she doesn't often play by the rules. She is a bit of a fashion bug, but only for her type of fashion and her distaste for other teenage girls spoils places like the mall. She loves vintage things, so the mall is actually the least of her concern. The only stores you'd ever catch her in are either second-hand stores ('cause she's poor as dirt) and maybe gas stations.
Talia is very hot-headed and easily annoyed, but she is fiercely loyal to anyone who earns it. Of course, earning it is... difficult to say the least. If Talia sees someone in trouble, she will take time to analyze the situation before doing anything. This can lead to her having to decide whether leave it be or take action, often in very little time. Talia wants to protect people, but as soon as too much drama becomes, well... Too much drama, she's out. She actually leaves people in bad situations almost as often as she helps them out. But she does have a certain vengeance about her, and she believes in the death penalty, distributed by herself or whomever finds the criminal. Not for petty, simple crimes, but for more serious ones.
For example, a man has a woman at gunpoint, Talia sees it (and decides it's a good day to stop crime), the guy is burnt to a crisp. She's not gonna slay you for stealing some lady's purse, but can be severe when dealing punishment. She doesn't like to stick around, either. "Thank-you"s and the like are hard for her to receive and more than difficult for her to give if she is assisted. A grudging "I had it covered... But... Thanks..." Is usually the most anyone will get for helping out.
History: Talia was orphaned at the age of three and sent to a foster home where she went unnoticed amongst 6 other children. Needless to say, she resented it deeply. Her real parents are a mystery, she never knew anything about them. She first realized her powers when she turned 10 and got mad at her foster parents for forgetting it was her birthday. As a ten-year-old forgotten child, Talia had some pent-up frustration. They fought, Talia shouted, her foster mother shouted back. Her "mother" stood, Talia stood, her "mother" shouted more, Talia shouted even louder and threw in most of the "bad language" she'd picked up over the years. Her "mother" reached out, and Talia saw stars.
Talia hadn't mean to do it, she didn't want to hurt anyone really, but when her foster mother hit her... She snapped. Her foster mother was sent to the emergency room with severe burns. Later at 15 she was angry because her foster father hit her boyfriend, again with the hitting. She got angry and then even angrier still. He kept saying it was the right thing for him to do and that Talia's boyfriend was "A streetwalking asshole". Her "dad" ended up half dead. Talia cared- of course she cared! But she also.. didn't. She thought he deserved it. More than deserved it. And then... She ran. She ran from everything and while she ran she thought and what she thought was mostly "I have to be better now. I'm not evil." so Talia decided what she was. A hero. Perhaps her methods are skewed, but... She'll straighten out with some guidance. She is now out on her own, mostly because no one cared enough to try to find her. Not even when they saw her on TV. Of course, she was naked, which might put a damper on the relationship... She's had her first encounter with the parazzi now, they caught her engulfed in flame, obviously with her clothes burning away.
Powers:
Fire Retardant: Talia can resist temperatures of up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. She is resistant to them though, which means if she stays in those extreme temperatures for too long, she will get burns.

Pyrotechnic: Talia can create fire and manipulate existing flames, but she has to be within 10 feet of the existing flames. She avoids using fire as protection, seeing as she would come out naked and, like most American teenagers, she is not comfortable with that. (takes 5 EP)
