Character Idea

How's this for a character? A bunch of insect-creatures that can poessess people, and take control of them. After absorbing a lot of energy, the person they poesses explodes, and creates a ton of new bugs that poesses more people. People with high willpower can resist them. (That pretty much means anyone who wants to.) Just an idea, and still not too devoloped.

Á la zombie epidemic? You know, I once made up a story of a zombie epidemic that was created by aliens in order to harvest slaves from our beautiful planet Earth. The idea was based on the movie 'Plan 9 From Outer Space'.
Wouldn't it be cool/interesting if those bugs were send by an extra-terrestrial race, in order to wipe out the human race in order to colonize planet earth?

By the way, it's 'Possess', not 'Poessess'. Unless you mean 'Poes zes', which is Dutch for 'Cat Six', but that would mean your spelling is still wrong.

How's this? Two rival clans of these parasite alien bugs come to Earth, and the heroes can use their hatered of each other to make a bug civil war.

Gawd I'd hate to see the english-to-bug dictionary. Every word would look like the other, and a single speech error could mean the difference between "Will you marry me?" and "I just got back from a sodomy session with your mother!"

I just came up with another plot idea. Chinese (or Russian) forces invade the US, aided by their own Chinese/Russian superheros (ow, that sounds really lame: 'Chinese Superhero', but anyway...). So what does the US&A do? They fight back (what any responsable nation would do when attacked by foreign forces), ofcourse with the aid of (American) superhero's. And you'll get traitors and deserters and all that stuff.
One plus: at least this time it's far more realistic than the end of the world with demons and stuff. Though that ofcourse depends on your own beliefs and worldview. Personally, I think it's far more likely that a chinese person with a machinegun comes knocking at yer frontdoor, than that the earth cracks open and a demon (with a machinegun) comes knocking at yer frontdoor.
